PITTSBURG — Cindy S. Murray, 68, of Pittsburg and formerly of Parsons, passed away the morning of Monday, Feb. 10, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburg.
Cindy Sue Murray was born on Feb. 9, 1957, to Bill and Lucille Murray in Fredonia. For several years, Cindy was a resident at Haven Support in Pittsburg. She was loved by the many people who knew her. She loved Elmos and really enjoyed Mexican food and a cup of coffee after a meal.
She is survived by her mother, Lucille Shukers; an aunt, an uncle, several cousins and many friends at Haven Support.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Murray; and her stepfather, Seward Shukers.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, at Mount Hope Cemetery in Independence. Services are under the direction of the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home of Parsons.
