
CHERRYVALE — Rick Fultz, 71, of Cherryvale passed away on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2025, at the Coffeyville Regional Medical Center.
He was born on April 15, 1953, to Darrel D. and Beryl D. (Wheat) Fultz in Parsons. He grew up and attended school in Raymore, Missouri, and Altamont, graduating from Labette County High School in 1971.
Following graduation, Rick went to work for the Katy Railroad, eventually retiring from the Union Pacific Railroad after more than 40 years of service.
In June 1972, Rick and Debbie Tyler were united in marriage, and two daughters, Camille and Bria, were born in this union. The couple later divorced.
Rick was a caring and compassionate person, who would help anyone in need. He enjoyed antiques, auctions, riding his motorcycle and attending his nieces’ and nephews’ ball games. Rick was loved by family and friends and will be missed by all.
He is survived by two daughters; two sisters, Cheryl Tullis and Terri Picolet; and a sister-in-law, Jeanette Graue.
He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 8, at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home of Parsons.
