The Southeast Kansas Regional Planning Commission (SEKRPC) and Labette County are creating a comprehensive safety action plan that will include programs and projects designed to save lives and reduce transportation safety risks.
Whether you drive, bike, walk, use a wheelchair, or take public transportation, the Southeast Kansas Safety Task Force wants to hear from you.
A public open house will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18, at the Altamont Community Building, 614 E. Seventh St., in Altamont to share information about the project and receive public feedback.
This is an opportunity for Labette County residents to share their roadway safety concerns.
