ESU graduates area students

EMPORIA — Nearly 400 Emporia State University students graduated during ceremonies in December 2024. Graduate students were recognized Dec. 13; undergraduate students on Dec. 14. Students who graduated from this area include: Samantha J. Boles of Cherryvale, B.S. in business in business administration; and Kelsey Anne Smith of Parsons, B.S. in business in business administration.

KSU honor roll

MANHATTAN — More than 4,600 Kansas State University students have earned semester honors for their academic performance in the fall 2024 semester.

Students earning a grade point average for the semester of 3.75 or above on at least 12 graded credit hours receive semester honors along with commendations from their deans. The honors are also recorded on their permanent academic records.

The following students earned fall semester honors: Altamont: Abigail Pegues; Oswego: Cecillia Newby, Autumn Stone; Parsons: Lakin Giager, Anthony Pearson, Katelyn Valdez; Cherryvale: Alivia Kaiser; Erie: Ethan Bartholomew; St. Paul: Noah Smith; Thayer: Abigayle Mahurin.

Thayer honor roll

THAYER — Thayer School has announced students who made its third quarter honor rolls.

Those on the all-A honor roll: Eighth grade: Brock Carrico, Emily Carrico, Mayci Clines, Bella Douglas, Caden Rehmert, Rylie Rehmert, Honor Robertson, Easton Umbarger and Hope Van Peursem.

Seventh grade: Paige Callarman, Bristol Greif, Brody Rousselle, Hagen Schulz and Gage Suckstorf.

Sixth grade: Wyatt Claibourn, Erin Kepley and Emary Van Peursem.

Fifth grade: Hunter Bauer, Lainey Callarman, Lydia Goins, Megan Pack and Flynn Powers.

Fourth grade: Robert Novotny IV, Harper Rehmert and Ruthy Wall.

Those on the all A and B honor roll: Eighth grade: Aubrey Babcock, Remington John, Jackson Kephart, Uriah Powers, David Rousselle and Tyson Watkins.

Seventh grade: Cashton Bayer, Beau Clines, Kanyon Vaughn and Trenton Whittley.

Sixth grade: Cambrie Bice, Raylee Cox, Jeren Essig, Ely Joyce, Isabella Thornton and Maci Thornton.

Fifth grade: Lyla Moore and Kale Smith. Fourth grade: Axle Dyke, Case John, Isaiah Saunders and Collin Spainhoward.
