The 2025 PK Open took place Saturday at Glenwood Park’s disc golf course in Parsons with 47 players participating. Pictured are (top photo) Don Cosby of Independence, Missouri, on a putt; Jason Price (above right) of Independence using body English on a drive; and Jeremiah Hawkinson (above left) of Erie on a tee shot as well. The top three finishers were in the mixed pro open division. Keehnan Ford of Wichita scored an 87 in two rounds on the 18-hole course, taking home $243. Hunter Harvey of Parsons finished second with 95, taking home $154. Stephen Winzer of Augusta finished third with 99 and took home $115. The foursome of Hawkinson, Price, Cosby and Kirk Johnson of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, played in the mixed amateur 40 plus division. Cosby finished fourth with a 107, Johnson was sixth with a 109, Price was 11th with a 114 and Hawkinson finished 13th with a 120. The next competition in Labette County will be the Idle Hour Open on April 5 at Idle Hour Lake south of Altamont. Ray Nolting/Sun photos
