OTES Lee Ralph book singing
Lee Ralph, the author of “Hell Comes to Play,” a book about the Bloody Bender family from the early 1870s in Labette County, will be at Bender’s Kitchen, 2318 N. 16th St., at 2 p.m. Saturday.
Ralph will sign copies of his book at the event. On Saturday evening at Parsons Municipal Auditorium, representatives from the University of Kansas and Kansas Geological Survey will discuss their findings so far at the excavation of the former Bender property.
