Janice Clark, 82, of Parsons died at 2:55 a.m. Friday, Sept. 20, 2024, at the Good Samaritan Society of Parsons.
She was born Sept. 15, 1942, at Lebanon, Missouri, a daughter of Fred Elsworth and Emma Emmaline (Elmore) Bowman. She was raised in Lebanon, Oswego and Parsons.
On May 28, 1967, she married Roger L. Clark at Parsons. The couple lived 55 years at McCune and she was employed at Fred Ronald Manufacturing at Parsons and Steamatic at Pittsburg. She and her husband also owned and operated Roger’s Tavern. She was a homemaker and baby sat at the house.
She was Methodist. She enjoyed collecting glassware, canning and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Roger L. Clark, of the home; four sons, Mike Clark of Pittsburg, Bobby Clark and his wife, Gaye, of McCune, Gale Clark and his wife, Valerie, of McCune and Justin Clark and his wife, Lori, of Spokane, Washington; a daughter, Shawna Crumpacker and her husband, Edward, of McCune; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Junior Bowman, Woodrow Bowman and Bob Bowman; a sister, Anna Kluber; and a granddaughter, Gabrielle Clark.
A graveside service will be at 10: 30 a.m. Thursday at the Mc-Cune Cemetery with Randy Beeman officiating. Friends may call at the Carson-Wall Funeral Home at their convenience.
