MOCK ACCIDENT AT LCHS BEFORE PROM
Labette County High School, in conjunction with the Altamont Police Department, Labette County Sheriff’s Office, Altamont Fire Department, Parsons Fire Department and Labette Health Ambulance Service, conducted a mock accident on Wednesday morning on the campus. The incident was to make the students aware what could happen if they drink and drive. The school’s prom in Saturday night. The driver, portrayed by Aidan Gibbs (left), was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence by Altamont Police Lt. Christian Powell with help from Sheriff’s Deputy Luke Schibi.
