
Charlottee D. Titsworth, 87, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, formerly of Parsons, died at 8:03 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at the University Village Retirement Community.
She was born on Feb. 17, 1938, in Fort Scott to Lawrence and Ruby Lakin. She grew up and attended school in Fort Scott and Parsons. She graduated from Parsons High School in 1956, then attended Parsons Junior College from 1956-58. She was worked as bookkeeper at McCarty’s Office Machines for 24 years and then worked eight years at Southeast Kansas Independent Living. She moved to Tulsa in recent years to be near one of her daughters.
In December 1957, she and Larry Titsworth were married in Parsons. They later divorced.
She was a member of the Church of God in Parsons. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and shopping.
She is survived by her sons, Fred and Alan Titsworth; daughters Debra Adcox and Sally Wedding; daughters in law Janet and Lisa; son in law Kenny; brother in law Ralph Pearce; eight grandchildren, thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren with one on the way. She was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Pearce.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, at Carson-Wall Funeral Home with pastor Frank Moore officiating. Burial services will be held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until service-time Tuesday.
