Playing in their regular season finale, the Parsons Vikings fell to the Circle T-Birds, 9-1, on Thursday afternoon.
“It’s been all season, the same thing, over and over again,” Parsons head coach Jose Ramirez said. “We get down and we get frantic and lose composure. Then everybody is trying to attack. We had a plan to go zone and not chase the ball. But it just came down to composure. We have a lot of freshmen out there.”
Parsons’ lone goal game on a penalty kick in the first half from Adam Reel.
The loss dipped Parsons’ record to 1-13-1 on the year. “It’s been tough,” Ramirez said. “Nobody’s in the same position from where we started the season. We’ve been constantly trying to figure out where they’re strong. That’s what we’ve been focusing on.”
