Parsons High School students Cadence Manners, Talan Robertson, Oliver Helton and Perla Briseno do a practice run this week for the school’s fall musical, “Emma.” The first performance was Thursday night. The musical will also be performed at 7 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday, all at the Parsons Municipal Auditorium. The musical, based on Jane Austen’s classic novel, tells a tale of a high school senior who thinks she knows best for her classmates’ love lives. The musical features hit songs from legendary girl groups. Tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for students and may be purchased at the auditorium.
