Rebecca M. “Becky” (Muninger) Morgan, 76, of Parsons passed away at 5:40 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2024, at the Presbyterian Manor in Parsons.
Becky was born Dec. 24, 1947, at Chanute to Kenny and Dorothy (Williams) Muninger. She moved to Parsons as a child and attended and graduated from St. Patrick Catholic School. She moved to Wisconsin and began raising her sons, Danny and Kenny.
After returning to Parsons, she worked many jobs but found her passion in working as an advocate for mental health. She worked for many years as the director of the CRO’s Nest in Independence. Becky was witty, smart and incredibly loving. She enjoyed painting, coloring, spending time with her grandkids, watching her crime shows and her beloved dog, Rocco.
Becky is survived by her two sons, Danny Delich and his wife, Dina, of Miami, Florida, and Kenny Delich and his wife, Melissa, of Parsons; three grandchildren, Alyson Delich and Bailey Collins, Regan Pflumm and Brett Delich; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Monte Muninger and his wife, Cathy, of Parsons and Ed Muninger and his wife, Mary, of Independence; her sister, Sarah Tullis and her husband, Ken, of Parsons; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Jase Delich; her parents; her brother, Butch Muninger; and her nephew, Kregg Muninger.
A private family service will be on Monday, Dec. 9, at the Memorial Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at their convenience at the Carson-Wall Funeral Home to sign the register. The family suggests memorials to the Jase Delich Memorial Scholarship Fund, USD 506 Foundation, and these may be left at or mailed to the Carson-Wall Funeral Home, 112 N. 26th St., P.O.
