Mary “Colleen” Crager Cook peacefully passed away and went to join her Heavenly Father on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024, while surrounded by her family at her home in Rockwall, Texas. She was a devoted wife, mom and mimi.
Colleen was born on Nov. 22, 1952, in Parsons to Richard “Ben” and Margie (McAtee) Crager. She grew up in St. Paul, where she graduated from high school in 1970. She attended Pittsburg State University, where she met her husband of 53 years, Robert Cook.
Colleen is survived by her husband, Robert Cook; three daughters, Jennifer Kirby and her husband, Neil, Stacy Cook and Cynthia “C.J.” Doigg and her husband, Clay; her four grandchildren, Kyla and Micah Kirby and Witten and Wiley Doigg; and six brothers, Father Richard, Danny, Dean, Kenny, Kelly and Craig Crager; as well as sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.
Colleen was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Margie Crager; sisters, Cynthia Volmer and Nancy Giefer; sisterin- law, Sherri Crager; nephew, Trent Crager; and great-niece, Jacinta Schibi.
The rosary will be prayed at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, followed by the funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St Francis Church in St. Paul.
