ALTAMONT — Joan J. Gartner, 81, of Altamont passed away the morning of Monday, Dec. 2, 2024, at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry E. Gartner, on Aug. 9, 2020.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024, at the First Baptist Church in Altamont. Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Altamont. The family will receive friends beginning at 1 p.m. until the service begins at the church.
The family suggests memorials to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. These may be left at or mailed to Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 374, Parsons, KS, 67357.
