Steven Eugene Garten, 69, passed away on Saturday, Dec 7, 2024, at Oswego Health and Rehab.
He was born on Nov. 19, 1955, in Wichita Falls, Texas, the son of Bob and Doris (Lambert) Garten. He was preceded in death by his father, Bob Garten.
Steve is survived by his mother, Doris Garten of Altamont; his brothers, Mike Garten and his wife, Jannell, of Altamont and Stan “Shorty” Garten and his wife, Glenna, of Claremore, Oklahoma; and many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place and no service is planned at this time.
The family suggests memorials to Oswego Health and Rehab and may be left at or mailed to the Carson-Wall Funeral Home, P.O. Box 942, Parsons, KS, 67357.
